i own a repair shop, and i hate to tell you this,,but it probably is the front seal still leaking on it,,when you set the torque converter back in it ,it may have knocked the little holding spring that goes around the inside if the seal off,and it will leak if this happened,i have did this before ,and had to take the transmission back out again to fix it,,the only other thing it might could be is the front pump gasket leaking on it,,but this shouldn't leak,,if it wasn't leaking before,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.

Pan gasket? There is also a vacuum sensor on the side. Could that be it? Worth a check. A trick I learned some time ago is put down some cardboard. Papers work if you can keep them from blowing away. Drive the truck around for a while then park over the papers. After a few hours you will be able to see where most of the fluid is collecting. This will give you a good spot to look for your leak. Best of luck.

The converter could have a groove in it where it rides on the seal and it is leaking from there...or the front pump seal and gaskets are leaking also.....

I can garantee you that you probably have a front pump bushing walking foward which will cause fluid to pure out front seal. I recommend removing front pump and changing front half of from pump.

Most likely cause is that whoever filled the transmission fluid on the tranny last over filled it enough so that the fluid is comming out of the breather, have you checked the dipstick and seen if the reading is above, right on or below the filler line?
