No, I'm assuming that you are devising that the Republicans had something to do with his illness. Last time I checked, only Hillary Clinton had someone "offed" to sway political leanings in Washington.

I think all Democrat Senators should be tested for the existence of brain matter.
P.S. Democrats bastardize the use of the English word democracy when they call themselves Democratic as in " Democratic Senator". It is a proper name, Democrat. You cannot manipulate the name to fit into English sentences.

If he is removed and a Republican in appointed, the Democrats need to put pressure on Republicans that will run in 2008 to switch parties. There is ample evidence the President will not change his policy in Iraq, if this is true, Republicans will loose in the next election. If a moderate Republican representing a swing state wants to remain in office, they should switch parties to maintain the will of the people. This person will become one of the most powerful senators in the country and they will all but be guaranteed reelection. The following is a list of Republicans in 2008.
• 2.4.1 Lamar Alexander of Tennessee
• 2.4.2 Saxby Chambliss of Georgia
• 2.4.3 Norm Coleman of Minnesota
• 2.4.4 Susan Collins of Maine
• 2.4.5 John Cornyn of Texas
• 2.4.6 Larry Craig of Idaho
• 2.4.7 Elizabeth Dole of North Carolina
• 2.4.8 Pete Domenici of New Mexico
• 2.4.9 Michael Enzi of Wyoming
• 2.4.10 Lindsey Graham of South Carolina
• 2.4.11 Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma
• 2.4.12 Mitch McConnell of Kentucky
• 2.4.13 Pat Roberts of Kansas
• 2.4.14 Jeff Sessions of Alabama
• 2.4.15 Gordon Smith of Oregon
• 2.4.16 Ted Stevens of Alaska
• 2.4.17 John Sununu of New Hampshire
John Sununu is the most likely person and if you are a Dem call your senator and tell him or her to pressure Sununu. He won by only 4% in his previous election and this country has changed its preference.
