Obama's name will ONLY be a liability if Republicans make it out to be. Comparing ANYONE to Saddam Hussein or Osama bin Laden is a SICK thing to do.

I don't really see too much of a problem with Brownback's name. The only Republican's name voters MAY have trouble with is Guiliani, but that would only be for people who didn't have T.V.'s on 9/11.

Um, Obama is easier for the average American to mispronounce, as Ted Kennedy has demonstrated.

The name Brownback would probably only be noteworthy to some kind of gay-basher, or otherwise childish person.

Name and ethnicity shouldn't be issues. Character, experience and stands on the issues should be.

PS Maybe this is why Kinky Friedman didn't win in Texas. :)

I feel sorry for people pathetic enough to let the name of politicians decide their vote. Personally, however, I'd say Brownback. Obama's just foreign.
