With the music and pictures or video clips. Is there a good how-to site about this? What kind of programs do you use?

I've had a bit of experience with this.
You need to use a video editing application (iMovie is free and easy to use with a mac, Windows Movie Maker is free and comes with Windows XP).

Well first, if you're making a movie, you need either a webcam or a video camera. After recording what you want, you can then import your footage from your camera to your computer using a firewire cable. Then, you can either edit the video in an editing program or uplaod directly to youtube. Many editing programs have steps that will get your video into the right format for youtube.
Easy editing can be done in: imovie (mac), windows movie maker (pc)
Good editing can be done in: final cut pro (mac), avid, premiere, after effects, etc...

you can create it on a digital camera video recorder and upload it onto your computer. then upload it to YouTube
