I failed to mention that in the situation with Steve that he got my info from a friend of his plus he works at Pizza Hut and I have ordered from there on occasion. He may have even delivered a pizza to my house. He also could have the information out of the phone book.

I have looked into getting a restraining order. The police have told me that it can't block calls and it can't stop him from delivering pizzas to the area where i live. So basically it is not doing any good. I have thought about getting my phone number changed but have been unable to convince my husband to do so. Right now we use our answering machine and screen our calls. If the person doesn't say anything or we don't recognize the voice we don't pick up. This has eased some of the stress. But Steve still comes by the house when he is out delivering pizzas. He claims that his route just happened to take him by my house. There is no way that I can prove that he is lying. But I don't feel that he is being honest.

I always thought that restraining orders could prevent a person from stalking or harrassing someone in any form. You should check into it more. I know of at some pizza places you can request that a certain driver deliver your order. I don't know if pizza hut has that or not. You might try giving them a call and see if they can get him to change the way he takes on delivery calls. Tell them what the problem is and you may find you have help in the least likely of places. HIS CO-WORKERS.

Keep screening your calls and don't pick up when and if he calls eventually he may get the message. Just let him learn on his own that is what it is going to take.

I've already told you what to do. A restraining order CAN deal with the calls. Wait. Didn't you say you had dated this guy in collge? Yet he delivers pizzas for Pizza Hut? Man...to think that delievering pizza now requires a sheepskin. Why...what am I doing wasting the past 22 years in a $90,000.00 plus job all this time when I could have been doing that?

Look lady....its apparent you or your husband haven't made any serious attempt to put an end to this thing once and for all. So...keep dallying around. When you wander out to your car with an armful of groceries at night and "Steve" grabs you from behind, pulls you into the car, rapes you, cuts your throat and tosses you out on some deserted road somewhere....well....it may not happen but then again....does this sound as though he'd be the type who would?

You and hubby's choice. Remember...if he ever DID that to you it's what? Life in prison? Not much of a consolation for you is it?

Well don't order from there anymore, obviously.

OK so he's not calling anymore? Good.

Whatever idiot cop told you that he can't be stopped from driving on your street to deliver pizzas just didn't want to deal with you. I suggest you try again.

Calling the pizza place is a good idea. Have them not send them to your area. Then he has no excuses to not be around. Any pizza place has several people delivering at any time unless you live on a main road that anyone must realistically drive down than there is no reason (although likely, he would be driving down it so fast you likely wouldn't notice anyways).

When you say comes by I don't know if that means pulling in your driveway or whizzing by at 40 mph. If it's the latter I can't see how you even know unless you sit by the window waiting to see if he goes by.

Something in your previous question gave me a tiny bit of an idea you actually like this a little. The fact that you considered your MARRIAGE to be the problem with getting back together with him.

YOUR words, not mine.

OK, at first when you read this you may think I am just being a smart a s s. I know this will seem extreme, but desperate times call for desperate measures. right? You may have to go on the offensive. Call Steve at work and tell him that you have tested HIV positive. The Dr. suggested that you contact all sexual partners you have had in the last 7 yrs. and you just wanted him to know. Also, even if he tests negative, he should contact all partners he has been in contact with in the last 7 yrs. and should avoid sexual contact until it is definite that he is not infected.

I know this seems extreme, but I would almost guarantee he will lose all interest in stalking you.

Complain to Pizza Hut that an emoplyee of theirs is stalkling you. Answer the door holding a video camera and ask him to leave you alone forever, and never come on your property agian. I'd actually consider getting a gun, legally of course. This guy is a stalker, plain and simple. I'm surprised your husband and his friends has not beat the crap out of this jerk.

If you call Pizza Hut don't get the man fired that will only give him more reason to stalk you or whatever he's doing.

When you say he "comes by" the house, do you mean he just drives past? How do you know? Do you stand by the window watching all the time? Your story seems strange. Do people ever tell you that you seem paranoid?

The restraining order will state that he may not call you and if he
does, then record the call and call the judge or police...
