how does the President of the US address a natural trend in the cycle of a planet? do you think that anyone was blamed for the last ice age???? sure, the President wasn't in office when the ice age began, but I think we should consider blaming him anyway. the planet will fix itself when it needs to.

There are soooo many different THEORIES on global warming, and it gets changed everyday. Just because you like a movie, doesn't make it correct. There are different scientists saying different things. There isn't a fix. That's why. Why hasn't the govt made us to green vehicles? MONEY. We are at war too, remember, maybe Pelosi should do something about it. Why is the President at fault, what all did Clinton do? What is anyone doing but making suggestions. Come on, bad question. Do you really have the faith that a president will fix it? Good Heavens, wake up.

Goldie,
First you have to look to see who actually made that movie. It was only brought to light because it was an election year. Bush has addressed it and the vocal Democrats did not like his answer. Many of the other posters have put it plainly. The earth will cycle itself. There is no need for panic. I do agree greenhouse gases should be minimized just for our own health but not at the expense of the American taxpayer. Look at other countries such as China which are (if not yet, will be) ruining the atmosphere worse that we ever thought about.

Global warming isn't a serious issue. We can't stop nature from doing what she does. Our planet has gotten warmer and colder for millions of years without the aid of aerosol cans, oil rigs, and styrofoam. Global warming is just part of Earth's natural progression through time. Geez.

I think it's because he honestly believes that it either doesn't exist, or that it doesn't matter because all Real Christians (tm) will be raptured soon, and won't have to deal with the consequences.
Look, even if it is a natural cycle, which part of it may be, it's not a real good idea for us to *contribute* to it.
