We can't do any better then 3 men against America, the President, 2 women that have done okay, YouTube guys? what have they done? How about people helping the poor and sick or someone working on alternative energy. What the hell is wrong with this country and Time magazine??? Please vote other!

The YouTube creators proved that there's still new media ideas that anyone can bring forth and be successful with. People can make a video and have it seen by millions or entertain themselves by watching the creativity of others. Those guys are an inspiration. To further answer the question - many videos on the site are submitted and/or watched by those doing humanitarian work, those working on alternative energy, and those in the military.

About the only time any one pays attention to the magazine is for the person of the year. They want at least half the people to complain about the choice. Their criteria is being newsworthy.

This years winner of the Nobel prize was the sort of person you can inspire you. If doesn't get any other recognition, he has blessed the lifes of thousands.
