my frend delivered on 22.4.06. but till-date she has not got her periods. wat can be the reason? Will she get pregnant if she indulges in unprotected sex?

If she is breastfeeding that can keep her from getting her periods. She should NOT engage in unprotected sex at any time, she can get pregnant again right away!

That certainly is unusual - maybe because she's still breastfeeding? She should be seeing her doctor about that one. And I wouldn't take the chance with the unprotected sex - you can still get pregnant very quickly after giving birth without having a regular period.

It's rare that it lasts 8 mths but it does happen. If she's breastfeeding. I got my first period within 5-7 mths with all three of my girls. And Yes!!! she can get pregnant. Her chances increase as the months go by.

If she's breastfeeding, she won't get her period until she stops nursing. If she's not breastfeeding, she should see her doctor.
Either way, she could get pregnant, and should not have unprotected sex unless she wants two little bundles under the age of one around the house!

It can take a long time to get your period back after you have a baby. I had a baby on may 1 2006 and have yet to have a period. It is NORMAL. I breastfeed for 5 months. I look as this time as a blessing who WANTS to get there period?!?!?! lol SHe can get pregant, weither she is BF or not.

it is very normal for her not to get her period (especially if she is breastfeeding)...could take up till a year...and yes, she can get pregnant so she should be protected

Your friend needs to see her doctor. Only a doctor could answer that question.
