Yes, I probably would because it should be something in you that wants do do the right thing no matter how much you have been mistreated. Maybe I wouldn't respond as quickly as I should :)

There were to many times that I would have loved to slap her around but if it came down to it. She is still human and a life is a life no matter how crappy they have treated you.
