I have installed a ulead studio 8 but when i put in a png file from microsft paint i still get a white at the back of my picture when i have put it in a overlay i have done this with a picture provided by ulead and the colour at the back is gone please can someone give me a answer

Don't use paint. I dont think it even supports transparency. Try out GIMP its free.

and also you've your priorities without delay. those machines are literally too complicated for me. i visit upload paper, yet in the journey that they are damaged or jammed I back away slowly and pretend I under no circumstances referred to some thing. this is like witnessing a mob hit.
