Probably about 5%. Teams just don't repeat anymore. There have been 7 different champions in the past seven years. And with the exception of the 2000 Yanks, none of those seven champions even got back to the series the following year.

It takes an exceptionally determined and mentally tough team to even get back to the series, let alone repeat.

White Sox and Red Sox fans were pretty confident of getting back after '04 and '05, respectively, but neither came close.

I'd say their chances are about equal to any other team. They're a good team, and they should be near the top of their division all season. And once the playoffs start, they have as good a chance as any other playoff team.

I'm not sure why certain teams get written off in the playoffs every year, when it's obvious that anything can happen in a short series. The Cards were written off as having no chance against the Mets, then the Tigers, and look what happened. That's why people should be more careful with predictions, which too often leave the prognosticator looking like an idiot.

Slim to none... And Slim just left town.

The Cardinals were an example of a team getting hot at the right time. They're likely to lose three and possibly even FOUR starting pitchers in free agency.

To offset these losses, they've signed Kip Wells who needs to go 17-0 just to become a lifetime .500 pitcher.

I've got nothing against the Cardinals - they've had some great years as of late, but at this point I don't even see them in the playoffs in '07. For their fans' sake, I hope I'm wrong.

there have been some sloppy moments for specific. i might provide it a A- to be superb approximately it as there grew to become into too many sloppy moments for a international sequence. It grew to become into exciting although to declare the least. interior the tip the Rangers basically could not get it finished and that i kinda experience sorry for their followers even although i would be giving them basically in uncomplicated terms a splash of a demanding time for it.

I don't even think they are going to win the division or the wild card. There pitching is not getting better this year, and they have to face a Cubs team that seems to have endless supplies of money to spend.

Not very good. They are having a yard sale and teams don't win back-to-back, selling off thier players (ask the Yankees). Watch out for the Cubs and all that $$$ they are spening.

slim to none.

I only say that because over the last 6 years there has been no team to return to the fall classic the following year.

I am just going by the law of averages.

The last team to go back to the fall classic back to back was (of course) the yankees.

Why do people think that anyways?

the whinny sux thought they would repeat, and look what happened to them.

So, going by those standards I am NOT expecting The Tigers to go back either.
