It varies..... Some women lose it hours before labor and other lose it weeks before labor starts.

I lost mine a week before my first labor started and never lost it with my second (c-section at 29 weeks).

It could be within the next 24 hours or it could be 6 more weeks lol the only real indication of labor is reular contraction that get closer and stronder or your water breaking. With my first I lost my mucus plug at 34 weeks and had her at 40 weeks 2 day!! With my second I never lost it. I hope you are close to being due and this is an indication that you will have a baby soon!! :)

I think it could rely at the challenge. A buddy of mine dated approximately 6 years earlier than getting married on the grounds that she was once sick regularly and could not move by way of with the marriage ceremony simply but. If it was once whatever like that, I could wait a whilst. If all occasions had been ideal (or up to they might however) so far as cash, a condominium, and different matters, I could nonetheless wait a pair years and be content material. I've been engaged for one million.five years correct now, and would possibly not be married for one more one million.five years. I'm sufferer I wager.

It totally depends on the woman. Sometimes they are in labor before that happens!

I'll give you what mine was like. I was getting ready to go to the store with my mom and I was changing into my jeans. I lifted my leg and (this part is gross) I felt something going down it. I looked down b/c I thought I somehow peed on myself. It was my mucus plug. After that I spotted a bit just like the doctor warned me about, etc. I would say within 15 minutes, I started having contractions. I started timing them at 9 PM and they were 4 minutes apart. Then, they jumped to 5 minutes apart around 5:30 PM. My doctor said wait until I was 2-3 minutes apart before I come in. Well, I waited...and waited...and WAITED. I had contractions every 5 minutes ALL night and needless to say, I didn't get a wink of sleep. Whenever I'd start drifting off to sleep, I'd have another contraction and you know how everything is worse at night...

So finally, at 6 AM I told my mom I was going to the hospital. I couldn't take it anymore. I was in labor for 14 hours and I just wanted to take something for the pain. I think it was worse because I had been up since 8 AM the prior morning without sleeping. So I had all my stuff ready at 7 and I started feeling nauseas. I went to the bathroom, peed (having morning sickness for 9 months taught me to do that so I wouldn't have accidents at work), then decided to try to get sick in the toilet. I hadn't eaten for so long that it was a drive heave which was the worst...and it made me actually break my water. And it was a gush....because I was pushing so hard to vomit (not willingly) that it broke my water and I pushed it out too. Within 10 minutes, my contractions dropped to 3 minutes apart.

I got the hospital at 8 AM, got phenergan b/c I kept feeling like was going to throw up everywhere, and got my epidural at 10. My contractions stayed at 3 minutes apart......but guess what? I didn't have my daughter until 4:17 PM....after 24 hours!!!

So it really just depends on your body, etc. This was my first and I was 6 days late. I at least figured that it'd go a bit faster since I broke my water already and I was sure she was ready to get out!! I guess not.

Just give it time and rest while you can!

It depends. It can be a few hours, or a week or better. You'll know you're really making progress when your water breaks, or you have progressively stonger and closer contractions that dnot go away over the course of a couple hours.

It can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days. Mine came out about a week before the birth.
