hey don't be so mean just because she's fat it doesn't mean she shouldn't be confident in herself, I'm guessing your still a child yourself otherwise you wouldn't be so immature

Your best bet is probably to bow out gracefully, yet tactfully, by telling her that you already have a prior commitment on that day. She may have self-esteem issues subconsciously, because of her weight. Usually, people mask their self-consciousness, by a sort of bravado. You mentioned that she thinks she is the prettiest girl around, but deep down, she probably feels very alone. She needs true friends, of which she may not have many. If you are honest with her, at some point in the future, you could tell her that you feel uncomfortable with her ego. She may be hurt a bit by that for a while, but if she is a true friend, she will remain your friend. Good luck to you.

Well that's not a very good reason for not going to this birthday party. She may "think she is the hottest girl in the world" in order to cover up her insecurities. If she is overweight, she is probably very self-conscious. The fact that she invited you to her birthday party shows that she wants to be your friend and probably needs YOU to be HER friend.
You never know when someone is feeling lonely and just needs a friend. Maybe you should reconsider going to this party.

You can say you have other plans. If you are young you can say your parents made other plans for you. Even if you really don't like her, it just isn't nice to say those kinds of things to people. Be graceful. Thank her for the invitation but say that you can't. Or show up briefly with your other friends and only stay for a bit.

I have the same problem with a co-worker of mine. She is fat, she is F-ugly, and she is less then a five, and she thinks she is queen if everything. What's more the bosses won't fire her, I think because they are scared of her.
What to do? I tried telling her about it but, all she could say is If the customers do not like it, then they can go elsewhere.
