My restaurant plays XM radio, and I ran back when I heard this great eighties song begin to play. It said the song was "Lucy" and the band was the Police, but I can't find it anywhere. Should I reverse the artist and the song, or was XM wrong?

I give up. I appreciate GREATLY all of the help, but it is not a song by Sting, Hanson, or Dewayne Orender. It is not the song Roxanne. I imagine I will just have to wait to hear it again on XM.

Dewayner Orender sang "LUCY" as a tribute to Lucille Ball.
Another artist who sang a song with the same title is HANSON.

There was none with that name on any of their album releases... I have all their CDs. I also checked iTunes under The Police and Sting... no go.
FYI - "Roxanne" was on their debut in late 1978, "Outlandos d'Amoor"

I believe that sing was sung by Sting as a solo artist, check that instead of the Police.

I DON'T BELIEVE SO. U MAY BE THINKING OF THE SONG "ROXANNE", WHICH APPEARED ON THE ALBUM "SYNCHRONICITY".
