I am wanting to know what site I can go to to get around a filter on a school computer network... I just need to get to a site that they won't let me go on...

I hate to tell you but any IT System worth anything will pop up red flags when you try to go to a proxy site or try to make a connection to get around a filter.
It can be done but you have to know what you are doing and be knowledgeable of network security systems to pull it off. In the long run, it is not worth it at all and you have a high risk of getting into trouble.

try disabling the PC's firewall. it may help
