Microsoft Internet Explorer is your primary web browser, and you can't get rid of that. It is happening due to loads of spyware, adware and trojans present in your computer, I am sure. Download this free anti-spyware from the given link, update it and run a full system scan:
Spyware Terminator : http://www.spywareterminator.com/

That will get rid of all the spyware(well, i can't assure "ALL", but certainly "ALMOST" all) and IE will no more drive you mad.

Internet Explorer is Microsofts application used for browsing the internet.

The pop-up's aren't the browser, it's your browsing habits, the sites you visit, what you do online, the type of stuff you download and install, there is also the probability of ad-aware.

I suggest you download the BT Yahoo! Broadband toolbar, which includes a spyware scanner and pop-up blocker, and also look into purchasing NIS2007, (PC World are selling it with GoBack 4, for just £24.99).

Everyone gets IE popups, no matter what their ISP is. The best thing you can do to eliminate IE popups is to download an anti-popup program, such as PopThis. Get a popup blocker program that works separate from the web browser-- don't rely on the built in popup blockers that some web browsers have. the browser popup blockers only work for sites that you are viewing within the browser. they don't do much for the Internet Explorer popups that basically come up independently of the browser (they open in an IE window). The best site to go to to look for a downloadable popup blocker is freewarehome.com. They have many programs and utilities for computers, including a range of popup blockers. 99% of the stuff on the site is freeware (can download and keep for free).

Looks like you have had your browser settings changed. Try deleting then re-loading your ISP (Internet Server Provider)software again, if that doesn't work get a virus checker and run a scan.

Popups are caused by malicious software called spyware, adware, and malware. This has nothing to do with your broadband supplier.

Download a software called Spybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html) which helps in removing spyware. Then, install Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/) and use that to browse webpages. It is safer than Internet Explorer.

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customisable to suit your needs and no problems.

1st try POP up blocker which is built in in IE. 2nd install antispyware because your PC probably infected with spyware/adware. You will find some antispyware free from the net. Also use latest antivirus update. U can try avast (www.avast.com) for antivirus which is free for home use.

I downloaded for free Pop-up Blocker here http://bit.ly/UaPXcv.

It is great to block pop-ups during the navigation on the web.

I think you need to download Internet Explorer 7 as in it there is a pop up blocker as standard.

From the sounds of it you have some nasty spyware installed my friend.

Download a copy of AOL Active Virus Shield. It's free and it's based
on the very popular kaspersky lab's antivirus killer.

Not only does it remove viruses but also keyloggers, trojans and
spyware/malware.

It's free and easy to use. There is a download link and an easy to use
step by step walkthrough by going here:
