I am 25, so well past the teen-angst stage. I find it hilarious that these people are all dark and gloomy and "misunderstood" and that the only way for them to show their emotions is to adopt a particular hairstyle and label themselves that way. I mean, guess what people, in 5 years you will realize that you were just an angst ridden teenager, like the rest of us have been and you'll be super embarrassed about your fancy emo hairdo hahahahaha

I'm 25 too and I'm totally with you. My little cousin is in High School and she's emo. I first time I saw her all dressed up I thought she was a boy. Her make-up was awful and her clothes where so tight I'm surprised that she could do up her pants. I think it's cool that kids want to express themselves but how are you expressing yourself as an individual when everyone else is dressed the same as you. Well I hope it's a faze and when I have kids it's long gone cause I swear if my kid dressed like that there would be some butt kicking. hahaha

I was a teenager in the '60's, so I don't have room to laugh at anybody's fashion statements. Peace and Love. :-)

Yes, yes I do! I like laughing at them in shopping malls best of all! My Girlfriend gets mad at me though, She says they are just expressing themselves. I counter that I'm expressing myself by laughing!

labels are stupid. why claim to be anything?
if you say you are emo, goth, punk or whatever...
chances are you are a poseur (poser)
