No harm is done. You should try to eat right it will help you feel better. Giving you energy to keep going. Also if your prenatal has iron in it talk to your doctor about taking them at two different times. My doctor had me on OTC prenatals and a prescription iron pill, he said that talking them both at the same time was not helping to take one in the morning and one at night. That way your body will aborb more of the iron. Remember you body is giving everything to the baby first even if it has to take it from your body. Many years ago women would loose there teeth later in life after having babies because of the lack of calcum in during pregancies. Now our doctors have us take prenatals to reduce the strain on our bodies. Eating right will also help. Good luck with you pregancy and your new baby.

You will not harm the baby by not taking the vitamins. The baby gets what it needs from you no matter what. If the prenatal vitamins are making you sick, you could always take flinstone vitamins. Instead of taking 1 you would take 2 and they won't make you sick. I took one look at the prenatal vitamins and decided I wasn't taking them and I didn't take them for a while, but then my boyfriend was getting worried and so to make him happy I supplemented with flinstones and the doctor said it was fine. Good Luck!!

Well, not getting enough iron can cause you to become overly tired. I know this as a fact, as I am pregnant and slightly anemic and wow I am sure tired all the time, even though I take my prenatal pills. Doc just told me to start taking iron pills too.

you and your baby should be fine, i think we all miss a pill or two while pregnant. it won't harm the baby in any way but be sure to take them everyday from here on out. its best for the baby. just make it part of your routine. leave your pills on your pillow so at night when you go to get into bed you see them and know to take them good luck and congrats on the baby.

nah, no problem. i went through the same thing during my pregnancy. If you are worried, take your prenatals during a time when you wont feel so sick, and take em with some food high in iron, such as any green veggies or... simply eat some cheerios

you will be fine. when i was pregnant i took them most of the time but didnt remember every day and we were both fine at the end. i took the iron pills after my son was born too due to being aenimic(not sure how to spell). each time you see your midwife she checks stuff like that anyway and she would soon say if there was something wrong. congrats and good luck.

I could take the prenatal vits, but my dr. also gave me calcium tablets that had to be chewed. I puked them up every time I tried it. He told me to take tums, couldn't do that either. I would think you would be ok...just be sure you get enough good stuff to eat through out the day!
