Yes; love, hate, misery are all spiritual energy and attract the same types of energy. Love LOVES company too, because when you are in love, you want others to feel loved and experience similar emotions. By that same token, when people are miserable, they are pessimistic and try to push those emotions over on to you. If you ever stay aroung someone miserable long enough, next thing you know, you will be complaining and looking at things from a miserable vantage point as well.
Bottom line, ALL emotions love company, because they feed off of the surrounding energy.

Ummm, no, Misery has left Y!A because of the "company". She is a loss to us, for sure. (And to answer your real question, I don't know anyone who likes company when they're really unhappy!)
