slope-intercept form is..
y=2/3x - 4

slope=2/3
intercept=4 units on negative y - axis

Solve: 2x - 3y = 12, for y. This gives the desired form: y = mx + b, where m = slope & b = y-intercept.

y = (2/3)x - 4

The slope intercept formula is y=mx+c,so the answer for your question should be
3y=2x-12
You can further simplify it by dividing by 3 throughout and that becomes
y=(2/3)x+4.
You can take either of the two depending on what you want.

Slope intercept form

2x - 3y = 12

2x - 3y - 2x = -2x + 12

- 3y = - 2x + 12

- 3y/3 = - 2x/- 3 + (12/- 3)

y = - 2/3x - 4

2x - 3y = 12
<=> 3y = 2x - 12<=> y = 2/3 * x - 4

2x-3y=12

2x-12=3y (isolate the "y" term)

3y=2x-12 (flip around so the "y" term is on the left side)

y = 2/3 x - 4 (divide everything by 3)
