what did you do that is making her not talk to you?

Generally if a wife does not talk to her husband it is for a good reason but for 3yrs I think she is taking it a little far. Maybe it is time to ask her if she wants a divorce. It will either shock her into talking to you or her answer will be yes. Maybe then you will find out why she is not talking to you. No matter what you have done to her it does not constitute a 3 yr silence. If you cheated on her then she should leave but if she was hurt beyond what she could handle this could be her way of getting even with you. All you can do at this point is get her to talk but if there is still not conversation it is time to end it. Best of luck to you.

Jim, not knowing WHY she is not talking, did you piss her off, hurt her feelings,you never know with women, we get bent out of shape for really weird stuff! Not wanting to sound glib, but my husband would just enjoy a few hours, then he would get pissed and not talk to me...sounds childish huh? it is, write her a note, and tell her you do not understand the silent treatment, but would she give you a hint at what you did or did not do? Maybe she is going through the change of life, whoa, that is a ***** to go through, I thought I would lose my mind and kill everyone around me in the process, thank god for Celexa! You just never know what is in someones head, sometimes we can take a small small detail and before we know it it is huge!!! Just be patient, and let her know you care and are there for her....for a while, do not let her work you so she can act childish and do this time and time again though, you need a wife not a kid...good luck....

Action speaks louder than words.
make her a cup of coffee or tea.
pay attention to her, remove some of her daily burdens. cook for her. do the little things in life that shows you care. what ever you are doing is probably not working, so you will probably need to change your routine. this may require a change in lifestyle. there are no quick fixes here, else you will be back in the same position a few months down the line.

You need to find out why. Did you do something to her or did something happen to her. Does she have history of giving you the silent treatment. 3 yrs of marriage regardless what happen that is like childish. She has issues....... Good Luck.

Oh, you must have did something really bad. Try to find out what it was that you did that cause her not talk to her. Sometimes it just simple like you say the wrong thing at the wrong time.

I don't know what you did, but I have always found that if you walk up behind her and lean over and kiss her on the side of the neck, that it helps. Also if it is your fault that she's made, tell her your sorry and you won't do it again and hand her flowers.

How about you start talking.... but listen... how? by asking questions. Ask her questions and then listen, evaluate, and see what she has to say. Ask openended questions, not yes or no questions. Find out what is going on and fix it.

take a half a day of work--
come home and prepare a romantic dinner at home for her---
when she gets home from work, she'll be surprised---
sit down and just talk to her about how you are feeling--
and see why she hasnt been talking to you
