one day..3 people went to buy a radio at a price of $30..so they gave the sales person the $30 (every one paid $10) ...when the owner came he told the sales person that there's a discount on this radio and it's only for $25..and he has to pay back the $5 to them....the sales person took the $5 and give evry one of those 3 guys $1 and took $2 for himself...
so when every one take $1 ..then he paid $9..
9*3 = $27 and the $2 for the sales person = $29
where did the dollar went??????????!!!!!!!!!!

$25 for the item + $3 returned + $2 for the sales person = $30

OR

$25 for the item + $2 for the sales person = $27
$27 = amount spent (3 * $9 = $27)

there is no missing dollar its a trick question worded cleverly so you think the dollar is missing - the math at the end is wrong
