I know nothing about cosmetics or skin care. She lives in Europe so she's familiar with the best international brands . . . what can I buy not only to impress her but also, and more importantly, give her a high-quality product she'll be happy with?

First I think you need to know the skin type of your gf and of cos her age. Different brands work differently for different skins. Have you been to her house and ever catch a glimpse of her beauty products?
To be on the safe side. Think you gotta get her sister or best gf to help you out there. Cos one gal's skincare rave might be another person's rant.
There are many acclaimed brands out there. If you ever get any tips on her ideal brands... would suggest you get her the whole range... if budget permits.
Oh what about skin supplements too? Work wonders too for keeping skin supple and young. Ask any reputable health pharmacies. She would thank you for that extra love and thoughfulness this Xmas.

I strongly suggest you buy her Strivectin. It is the best wrinkle cream on the market. It cost $135.00 per 6 oz jar. If that sounds like too much money, go on Ebay and buy her Arbonne C Night or day cream. They cost about $50.00 through a consultant or about $20-30 on Ebay, my second favorite. I am 30 years old and often get carded when buying beer, so I'll say they work.
