Well i've been with my boyfriend for 2 1/2 years and things are going pretty good but he's the type that pretty much never wants to get married, so i'm wondering if i'm wasting my time..... What should i do????

hmmmmm, how much do you love this boyfriend??????? Is he worth waiting for???????? You didn't mention how old you both are, if you are young, then honey, you might be waiting for a long time, and if you both are like in your thirties, it could change his mind and want to get married. Honey, I have been with my boyfriend for 13 years and I finally got an engagement ring last year. Now it is going to be another 13 years before he proposes, and after that, another 13 years will go by before he actually walks down the isle. LOL So, you see, nothing is guarenteed with a man. For some reason, men don't like to talk about marriage cause it is so final and men like to feel like they are free to do what they want, when they want, and how often they want. Woman like to talk about marraige cause we are looking for committments with security, men don't see it that way, they only see being tied down to one person. If you really love this man, waiting might pan out for you, if you don't wish to wait that long, talk to him. Being able to communicate with each other is something every realtionship should have. If you've been together for 2 1/2 years, then you know him well enough to ask him outright if he ever plans to get married. If the answer is no, then you either decide that you don't ever want to get married or you leave him. Leaving him might be all it takes for him to decide that he does, after all, want to get married. If not, you are better off. What a shame if he is a good guy.

First of all is marriage the most important thing in the world to you? OR would it not be just as good spending each day and night together? Bye the way, why does he say he doesn't want to get married. IF you both truly love each other then just be together and maybe he will go for this marriage eventually. but be careful. Do you want to get married? Have kids? Are you really happy?
It's been two1/2 years if he hasn't figured out that you are the one for him. He's not going to and you need to ask him or break up. I know that this sounds kind of cold but, if you are wasting your time isn't it better to know then, be scared what might happen. You'll feel better when you ask. You might not get the answer that you want but you'll know.

the only thing that u can really do about it is talk to ur boyfriend about it. theres no since in in wonding or worryin about it. u need to tell him that u been wondering if ur wastin ur time and see what he says. cuz a lotta guys say that they wont ever get married but when they find the right girl they do. so either ur the right one for him or ur not.

this is where you are going to have to decide whether it's him you want for life or to be married. It's the only choice you have because he has made his. Your realtionship doesn't have to be sealed with a license and a kiss.

Do you feel like your wasting your time. If he is a good guy to be with then in time he might change his mind but if you think he isn't going to then maybe it is time to rethink your relationship ....
