Neither...I feel that Leona has a voice agreed, but so did that black lady (Dionne) that Simon said seemed like a boxer, and if she was a boxer, ie had no charisma then in my eyes neither does leona, I cant see anything exciting about her.
Ray, sorry but no matter what he sings, its always jazzy and swing in style, and he may be a great guy but not my favourite.
I liked Robert the best, and he wasnt just a great entertainer or singer (remember Mr.Bojangles?) but so very humble and sincere.
However I voted for the Mcdonald brothers, because Simon had a bet that he'd give them a £1m recording deal or something if they win, so how could the public not let them through and also because they were always ridiculed and bashed and I thought if not rob, then these guys should win. The night they were out, me and 8 other friends voted like crazy via text, and we all sent 10-20 texts each, however XFactor is a business and thus we did it as an experiment too, to prove this. Our texts came back saying the voting lines are closed even though we had sent them way before the lines had closed at all, also can you imagine Simon making any money if the Mcdonalds won, not just here but anywhere in the world (extreme to make a point..but i thought they were getting better week by week), so as a business that is there to make profit, im sure its rigged just as the lottery is, or the probability ratio is in favour of the house...'the house always wins'.
Also Whitney has a great voice, thats w.Houston, but its Madonna that has the XFactor, or rather the ability to make headlines and make money...this is an example of how rather than talent, the Xfactor is based on clever marketing, of branding and of sex-appeal. What a shame i feel.
Anyhow good luck to them all, but I imagine, like Gareth Gates, Will Young, Shane Ward etc, they'll be jetting off to Japan or South Africa rather than making any lasting impression here in the UK.
This isnt strictly to do with the question, but for this Christmas, id love it if the number 1 wasnt the Xfactor winner at all, simply to allow the money making machine that is the simon cowell experience not to have the monopoly on our tradition. My votes are with Take That's patience, what a terrifc song, it really is and whoever isnt British that is reading this, search this song and listen to it..Gary Barlow really is a writing genius, either them anyway or Cliff 'aha' Richard..just for the sake of it lol
Best would be a charity single that actually went to helping a charity rather than a single that only helped clear away interest payments for a charity in debt...thought band aid has made a difference hasnt it?

I'm more apt to buy a CD from Ray than from Leona. There are hundreds of young women out there who can sing equally well as she can, but there aren't many guys who sing the type of songs that Ray does. I do however agree with several of people here who are sorry that Ben is gone. He had my vote consistently every week until some Ben-haters knocked him off the stage. I sure hope he has a long and prosperous career ahead of him.

All boring but Im bored at work so am answering. Ray is odd and no idea who votes for him. Leona has a good voice but nothing special. I actually liked Ashley, he was really different and I would have bought his records.

it doesn't make any difference to me. I preferred Ben, Ashley and Eton Road and I thought Dionne had a better voice than Leona but then SImon didn't fancy Dionne so she didn't get the same nurturing as his little pet.
I suppose I hope things might 'swing' in Ray's favour simply to wipe the smug smile off Leona's face because she so thinks she's won

Definately Ray!! After what was reported in the papers about her lunching with record execs she's got a record deal whether she wins or not. think it has been staged from the start for Leona to win!

Ray has a good voice but he is so predictable, every song sounds the same.
The outright winner of course is Simon Cowell!
