Folding pants. I have to have them folded a certain way before they go on the hanger. Otherwise they get wrinkled. My fiance NEVER does it right, I don't know if he has a hard time since he's left handed or what, but he does it backwards with the zipper on the outside instead of inside. That, and when he puts laundry away, he never puts my things in the right drawers, and then i can't find it. I guess I should just be glad he's doing the clothes at all.
I also can't stand little hangnails and pieces of skin sticking up around my fingernails. I am constantly picking at them subconsciously and I really try not to do it but sometimes I really don't know I'm doing it.
Finally, all the key tags on my vehicles here at work have to be attached with the number facing the opposite end of the ring. I don't know why that bugs me.

Hee hee - getting on YahooAnswers almost daily has to be right up there! I also love to cook meals out of doors in Dutch ovens and feed a crowd of friends. The looks on their faces when they see how good a meal can come from black iron pots over a campfire is priceless! 'N I love to talk about the history of medicine, especially the period 1860 - 1865 - the American Civil War (I'm a reenactor). And I'm pretty far gone on ham radio, too...and the last is really the first: I'm really, really, REALLY into my wife!
I also absolutely LOVE telling the people who insist "spelt" is not a word that they're full of crap! Get a freakin' education, you bleedin' baboons!

Hi. Most people have 3-5 of the 12 common OCD's. I had 7!!!
Therefore I sought help and some have eradicated and some are still with me, but are easily manageable. Currently the main one I have is checking things repeatedly like house doors and Car locks and windows, always in multiples of 2 or 5. The rest I'd rather not put down here but - if you have OCD you are not alone, and is easy to treat if you want to.

I have to check that the cooker is off before I go to bed even though I haven't used it for hours, I try not to do it but then have to get out of bed and check. The cutlery must match, I have to put exactly the same amount of food on all the plates - tough s**t if you want less or more! Also I have to finish everything on the plate, but I can't swallow the last mouthful of my evening meal, I have to spit it in the bin - its disgusting and wierd, I know!
The other one is I have to constantly check I've got my fags, lighter, keys, wallet, phone, and they all have a particular pocket in each jacket or bag that they must go in- the wierd part is I don't smoke anymore, but I can't not say fags and lighter, so I say 'fags, lighter' silently and whisper 'keys wallet phone'!

I have a PSP, which has 3 brightness settings. I am forever pressing the button and counting 1-2-3 to make sure its definitely absolutely 100% on the brightest setting.

I wash my hands several times a day...actually alot...im really obsessed with clean hands and mine get clammy from thinking about it all the time...which only leads to more washing of the hands. I cant share milk..and if other people do..thats sick! when i eat eggs i have to wipe my fork off a few times with a napkin or wash it completly before i even think about finishing my egg(s). I have to tuck to end of the blankets under my feet before i go to bed, and i only sleep in pitch black, even the light of my phone charger cant be on. I hate noise when i sleep and i hate the sound of someone sucking their teeth while eating because it literally makes me skin crawl and i grind my teeth whenever i hear it. I have to follow the same routine each morning: washing my hands repeadetly and checking the mirror until i feel right. Also i have to count to 8 each time i brush my hair, altough, this hasnt gotten as bad as my hand washing. I cant touch copper unless i have to becuase im obsessed about the smell, because it stinks and i hate it. I dont like to touch door handles and if its necessary, i would wait inside a public reastroom for long hours until someone else came in to open and let me out. Whoa! i feel better. I hope i didnt go too far, i never told anyone this before. thanks.

All my books have to be in alphabetical order by author and then in chronological order for each author.
It's a right pain when I buy a new book by Dan Brown or Micheal Connelly and have to move the rest of them along the shelves to make room.
I just wish I could chuck em anywhere.

I don't like open bin lids, they have to be closed because i can feel the dirt getting out. If there's more than one light switch on one the wall in the same place they all have to be switched the same direction and i hate doing washing up with food floating in the water makes me want to throw up.
I think thats the right, right :)

Gah.. "spelt" is correct if you're using British English. And I don't even have OCD. I don't. Really. Not at all. Nope. Never. But "spelt" is correct. It is.

I have to check that the doors are locked at least twice before I go to bed- but that is more being careful than being compulsive.
I am obsessive about anything being on the floor, like fuzzies or little pieces of paper- My vacuum broke the other day and it is driving me crazy!
