My 15 year old daughter has a friend from school who has an older sister who goes to the same school. She is 17 or 18. She recently started working at grocery store I shop at. I go every weekend and 2-3 times a week on the way home from work to pick up a thing or two.
Anyways I am always friendly with her (she is there most of the time) but nothing the slightest bit inappropriate. However now my daughter is telling me (and my wife) about her friend's sister talking about me - about what I bought, whatever. She also drives her sister over to our house sometimes and makes some kind of excuse to come inside (such as use the bathroom) or even go around to the backyard to say hi if I am mowing the lawn or something.
OK so now this is sounding a little creepy but I don't know what to do. I don't want to give my wife the idea that I am inviting this attention. I also don't want to make a big deal out of what is probably no big deal. Another store isn't an option it is out of the way.

Just be honest and tell you wife that this girl is creeping you out. If any rumors get started, then at least she knows the truth long before the crap hits the fan.

Well, it sounds like she has a crush on you that could be trouble for you. To keep down confusion, you sometimes will have to go out of your way. Try the other store and stay as far away from this little trouble maker.

Keep your distance. Keep all actions and words appropriate for dealing with a MINOR. Keep all conversations brief.

And I’m not buying the ‘Another store isn't an option it is out of the way’ excuse. Sometimes we have to go out of the way.

She has a crush on you. Let your wife know that this girl has a crush on you and that should be it. If anything your wife will talk to her.

i would talk with my wife about this girl's crush. i'm sure your wife knows you well enough that she sees it as a crush as well. it's kind of cute in a way, although yes, creepy too.

Communicate...communicate...communicate. Tell your wife everything about this situition so she won't think something is going on with you two. Weird friend!
