The pics of art from the 1500 till today are the same. you should explain to who ever says that its pornography, to derive the term and say that pornography is actually devices, animalistic behaviour that is not art. If people wish to use the term pornography as a polticial statement they have to be very careful when and in what form they are talking about.

There is still nude art. It is the celebration of the human body.

Popular culture now has people jamming whatever and whoever they can wherever they can...this is celebration of carnal pleasure and collection of money through our societies hightend lust.

So...if the painting, photo or video is inciting (or trying) to insight feeling of lusty desire...then you have PORN

If the painting or photo is displaying the beauty and elegance of the human form, then it is art.

Its not the fact they are nude that makes it pornography - its the act or pose the action in the picture that makes it pornography!

it's still technically pornography.. but it's also art.. those artists would spend years on one painting or sculpture..

taking pictures with a camera takes very little skill or effort.. so it's not art.. when you drop the art aspect, all you're left with is porn..

"Art" shows us humans in the naked form. "Pornography" is the exploitation of human genitalia for sexual gratification. There's a huge difference.

I do wonder that. I think people have gotten ultra sensitive and created too many "taboos." Everyone needs to relax. :)
