The higher is always better.
Depending on the country you live in - you'll only be able to get certain phones. For US most of the phones don't go higher than 1.2M, only the new one are around 2M. The reason is because people start taking huge images and start sending them from one to another, which takes a lot of airtime! Try sending a photo of 2MB from your phone - you'll be sitting there for 10 minutes waiting for the transfer to end.

anyway .. the higher- the better.

3.0 Megapixel, but I don't think the 3.0 megs are out yet. So best to go with 2.0 megs untill it is out.

3. The higher the number of pixels, the greater the resolution, and the clearer the image.
