I was so excited to see it, but the last time I looked outside was at 10pm and I saw nothing :(
How was it?
Just wondering! Thanks

I looked about that time and didn't see any either. But I only tried for a minute or two in my back yard. I didn't drive out to a dark site and didn't watch long. I heard from someone who saw 52 in 90 minutes the night before from a dark site. That is about one every minute and a half. Also, the best time to look is 2:00 AM, because that is when Gemini is highest in the sky.

The best time for viewing the Geminids is between midnight and three A.M. In fact, that's the best time to observe any of the major annual meteor showers. That, and a moonless night. Last night's partial moon obscured much of the fireworks.

I saw several on my way home around midnight (I live in SC). I didn't know which shower it was, so thanks.
