amyotrophic lateral sclerosis ALS lou gehrig's disease.
lou is one of my baseball hereos. he was the origianl baseball badass. 2,130 games played in a row while still putting up mvp numbers. after he retired doctors xrayed his hands and found 17 different fractures in his hands, old and new, healed and unhealed. imagine him winning his triple crown with fractures in his hands.
