based upon Charles Dickens's novel " A Christmas Carol " is basically a story about a miser who pursues wealth forgetting the most important things in life. after the death of his partner is visited by three ghosts ( past - present - future ) and discovers the errors of his ways thereby repenting and starting life over again.

Which version? There's been loads. It's based on a book by Charles Dickens. The basic plot is the mean old miser, Scrooge, is visited by 4 ghosts. First his deceased partner, Marley, then 3 ghosts of christmas, past, present, and future. To cut an extremely long story short, he realises he's a stingy git and becomes a really kind generous man after that. The book is extremely long winded. Stick with the film. The muppets did a great version.

I have seen the movie, and it has a good message, but I like the movie called An American Christmas Carol, much, much better. It has the same message, but it is somewhat different.

I know it is about a miserly old man who lost his Christmas spirit long ago,and is visited on Christmas eve by three spirits of Christmas.Christmas past, present and future. After he"wakes up" he is a changed man and uses his wealth for good things and helps people instead of hoarding it all and keeping it for himself.I hope this helps you.

It's about this boy who wants a "red-rider be be gun" he asks Santa for it and gets pushed down a slide. The dog eats their Christmas turkey and they have to go out for Chinese. At school one of his stupid friends gets his tongue stuck to a flag pole. It is about 2 hours long and very funny. I try to watch it every year.
