Sunday or Monday evening. A 5 to 7 day auction that ends on Sunday night or Monday night will work best. This gives you 5 to 7 days of exposure, and a weekend to draw the most attention. Those ending Sunday night seem to get the most last minute traffic and bids.

just after a weekend. preferably at night. this gives everyone a chance to see it over the weekend (when most ppl are online and on ebay b/c some work places block ebay) also at night so they can bid on it more (the blocked thing again)

The best time is usually during high traffic times, normally when more people are at home using their computers. Most of the time this would be during the evening hours.

I would say on a weekend day, like maybe Sunday. This way bidders are probably more likely to be available to up their bids, even higher than they may of planned, since they will be there watching the bidding.

i say give the auction a few days if it's a really good and much sought-after item. if the item is easy to find and not that expensive ordinarily, give it more time, maybe a week.
