how is the media centre edition. which model would be better. any indian websites for hp. my fingers are tired searching for indian hp site.

Not sure about Indian websites, however, I do own a dual core Media Center PC from HP & let me tell you that EVERYTHING about it is excellent.
It comes with all the hardware & software you need for a true multimedia PC.
I would suggest the AMD dual core models simply because unlike the Intel based units they are (with the AM2 mainboard) upgradable to a quad-core processor as soon as those become available.
They are less expensive than Intel & despite the fact that most benchmarks show the Inelt Core2 Duo as the better performer it's really like comparing a Ferrari to a Porche .... who cares which one is a little faster ...they are both extreme machines & most of us would never notice the difference.
