Yes I have, as a matter of fact I've done that a few times. I'll tell You about the one time that really stuck with me all these many years gone by. I had just learned CPR at work ( I just did it to get out of the mundane crap I had to do! ) and over the the weekend I ended up at this party where people were injecting cocaine. This one Cat was really going crazy on the stuff and finally overdosed. He went into convulsions and then his heart stopped. None of His friends even moved from where they were screwing around with the weasel dust! I went over and started the compressions and the breathing for the Freak, thankfully He came around! You should have seen how much His neck puffed up; and the eyes! Man they pacticially bulged out of His head! Amazingly when He recovered He took another hit of the stuff! Unreal!!! Nobody seemed the least bit concerned and when I said to the Dude "Hey Man, You should go to the hospitial", He told me to F*CK OFF!!!! My friends and I left that party shaking our heads and wondering if anyone else was going to do the funky chicken on the floor that night. That was twenty years ago, maybe even more; and still I can see in my minds eye that Guy flopping around the floor till he just stopped; wild what People do for fun eh!?! Anyway, have a Merry Christmas!

I saved my son's life by spending twenty grand on a good defense attorney.
Although he was never guilty of the charge, it helped a great deal to have a talented attorney.
None of the so-called parents out there would spend money like that.
That is why I don't admire any parents anymore, because when push comes to shove, they take care of themselves first.

I used to be a 911 dispatcher. I received 911 calls everyday from people having heart attacks, involved in motor vehicle accidents, etc. It got really stressful at times, but it was worth it to know that I helped someone everyday.

I was walking home late at night and I saw someone had pushed a dumpster into this guys parking spot, put some tires in it and set it on fire. The apartment was directly above the parking spot. Flames were hitting the roof. Dude was passed out on his couch directly above the fire. I woke him up and got him out of the house and called fire dept, it looked like he was going to burn for sure.

As an RN I have saved many people's lives. Or I should say--I did what was needed for their dire condition, at that moment and they decided to live. Because I don't have the power to make them live.

I pulled a drowning kid out of the water while lifeguarding.
I wouldn't have believed it till I saw it, but people really do throw their arms up in the air and scream for help as they bob under, thus not using their arms to help and filling their mouths with water.

My younger brother was drowning in the bath tub and I lifted his head out of the water after he passed out.
I then called 911.
That's how I did it.
