No, Nintendo are notorious (along with Sony) for harboring a deep hatred for imports. The Wii, like the Gamecube, is region-encoded, which means that you can only use games coded for the region that your console hails from.

Gamecube has a disc called the Freeloader which works for most games. Its a disc that you load, then you run the Gamecube game you want to play from another region, and it should work. Action Replay does the same thing also. I haven't read anywhere whether or not this disc works in the Wii, but it should...

Yes, nintendo wii is capable of playing all the older versions of the gamecube game.

But you must have the gamecube controller's to play it in the nintendo wii.
