The real question is if you truly love this man, and if it is his baby, will he know what to do, as in, marry the girl. financially support the child and so forth.
I think the best way is to have a good talk and come up with a plan as to how to go about this.
The girl who claims to be pregnant may also be lying. so you have to make sure she isn't saying this just to break you up.
Get to the truth of it. If you have been his friend for years you may still keep the friendship, try to support him emotionally through this difficult time, if you decide it's too much for you to be there as his girlfriend that's OK too.
after all we must all be responsible for our own life,
Good luck
Irene

This happend to me and I was also confused what to do....my feelings for him were strong enough though that I made the decision to stay with him and support him. Unfortunately however she decided to have an abortion when she realized that he was not going to go back to her because of the pregnancy. I guess she thought it would break us up. I do not support anyone having an abortion and hopefully she will not in this case but I dont feel that this situation should separate the two of you...obviously it was an accident but it is not a reason to part ways.

You've been seeing him for 4 months and she is 5 months pregnant. He didn't betray you so what are you mad about exactly?

So what if he has a past. So do you. Would you want him to leave you because you slept with someone before dating him?

It seems kind of childish when put that way, doesn't it?

I would leave just because of the can of worms she has opened- it's potentially going to be a lot of s**t. The really "good" people will probably suggest that you at least try to stay and support him. see how it goes. Be prepared to take a backseat to that whole situation though.

I say stay until you find out it is really his. Don't want to leave in a hurry and then find out you made the wrong choice if you really like this guy.

Find out all the details and take time to think about what you want to do. Do not make any rash decisions, you may regret it.

If I was in your positon I would be positive and true and stay by my man. I say this because it is good to be on his side through thick and thin.
