I didnt realy try or study or anything because I wanted to see how I would do without anything fresh in my mind. I scored a 1260, how bad is that? I know that if I study for the next one I'll be alright but I was just wondering how good/bad the score was without any study time.

It is difficult to answer this question. You give your score, but what exam is it from and what was the total possible. For most exams, a score of about 60% or better is passing, 70% is getting into the good range, and 80% or better is on the high end. Most exam takers score somewhere in the middle, or everage range.

Is this the new sat I your talking about, the one out of 2400? A 1260 out of 2400 is pretty bad no offence. I got a 1670 and alot of colleges around me (northeast) want higher than that.
