I personaly think cheering is a sport because it actualy involves picking up other people, running, and many other grueling activities!!!

standing by the sidleines cheering, then no. but performing in compatitions with gymnastics in the routine then yes.

I don't deny that it is a physically exerting activity. But for me personally, I don't think it is. Nobody keeps score, and even in cheer competitions, score amounts to a matter of a person's judgment. I have always had a problem with sports where the East German judge had the power to screw it up due to whatever the the party told him to do that day.

Games where you keep score, or races where you can determine a clear winner are a sport. I'm sorry, cheerleading, ballroom dancing, and chess are not sports.

I think cheerleading shoud become a sport becouse yal shold have a sport for girls enstead of just guys.

Yes it is, other than the games they actually compete and perform, so you know they are athletic.
