stalls, new sensors, new fuel filter, has fuel pressure, no codes in ecm, could it be the ecm??, heard they have troubles.

Yes, it could be the PCM(powertrain control module) as this affects everything but it should also be setting a code unless the fault is in the programming. Check with GM about this.

It could be many things and without much more information, it's an inefficient guessing game. Does it stall after starting, when coming to a light? If you have the auto(3T40) the TCC solenoids are known for going bad and causing the converter not to release when coming to a light causing the engine to stall. It would help if you could provide more information about the vehicle and under what conditions the car stalls.

ECM service number 1227730 is a known lame ECM, but usually causes different squirrelier problems but still a possibility.

various things could cause this.have seen a dirty throttle plate do this. tcc solenoid sticking,only after trans reaches operating temp ,fells like stopping a stick-shift car without depressing clutch .next thing mabe could be pcm.need scan tool to know for sure

A LITTLE ADVICE REPLACE THE MOTOR 3.1 WAS A PIECE OF GARBAGE
