She makes a movie almost every year. See the link below for her filmography. I think she has become more difficult to employ (along with Melanie Griffith) due to over-botoxing. Yuck!
My favorite Basinger movie is "9 1/2 Weeks", with Mickey Rourke (1986).

She has been in a few movies over the past couple of years. I think with the big custody battle for her daughter going on, it took up most of her time. But she is still kicking around.

no i think she spends most of her time engaging in custody battles with Alec Baldwin...I hear she's very strange in terms of her personal life and has gotten stranger
