I am creating a photo gallery, but rather than clicking on a thumbnail to go open up a new page with Next, Previous etc on it, I'd rather just open up the full sized image in a pop-up window, with no menus (e.g. File, Edit, etc) or action buttons (e.g. stop, refresh), and for the pop-up window to be the right size to fit the picture exactly.

you have to host the image on a site such as www.photobucket.com and then find the html code or xml code that makes something pop up on your site then put code in your site and it should pop up when people visit it.

Most of the newer browsers these days will prevent you creating a popup without menus or buttons, because a lot of porn/spam websites have used them to pop up unwanted windows.

As an alternative, consider a javascript library like Yahoo UI (http://developer.yahoo.com/yui) - the Panel component will do what you want. However you'll need some javascript knowledge to get this to work.
