... that men, in general, love women?

I've heard "look at the Taj Mahal" a million times. Pardon me, but I'd like a little more evidence than that. Considering the amount of time humans have been around, it's an unbelievably lame answer.

I already know I can answer my question myself. No-one can show me any evidence, quite simply because there isn't any whatsoever.

On this one occasion, I would love to be proven wrong. Anyone?

Nah, didn't think so.

Re: "you ask rhetorically if there is anyone to prove you wrong and then you answer yourself 'no'. so what's the point"

The point is, that - as I said - I'd like very much to be wrong about this, because it hurts a great deal. As an optimist (deep down), I'd like to find some evidence that makes me really believe my cynicism is misplaced.

If you don't understand that, I can't explain it to you.

I take your point about couples having kids, but a more cynical person could argue that bearing a child is proof of a biological function, rather than the result of any kind of emotional attachment.

I was going to say, look at the climbing population rate all over the world, but that doesn't prove love, it just means that men enjoy sex with women enough to keep creating babies. I think the proof exists in your heart. It's a matter of attitude. If you believe that men love women, then you will be able to detect even the smallest hint to prove that. However, if you fall into deep cynicism about it, then you will never accept anyone else's proof of men's love for women.
I see it when i hear stories of what my grandfather did to protect his wife and daughter, i see the proof when i see my fathers love in his eyes when he looks at his wife. Most men love their wives, and daughters and mothers. There is no reason why men shouldn't love women. A woman gave birth to them, took care of them, until another woman comes along and takes care of him as his wife, and gives birth to his children. Men love women as much as women love men. Consider this, in ancient history major wars were faught over the love of a woman. Look at the arts, many men wrote great pieces of literature about love, and to express the love they had for a woman; many beautiful paintings were inspired by the artist's love for a woman. Not just the taj mahal....but so many other things. It's easy to loose faith in men and in love, but men do love their women. If you find an example of an incident that may prove differently, then consider that execeptions to every rule exist, and if a man acts as though he doesn't love a woman, he probably doesn't really love her, perhaps because he doesn't believe in love, or doesn't love himself. The point is....believe and it will be there.

I see an excellent type of dolts creeping out from lower than the baseboards with no longer some thing else to assert than Fox is an exact wing media outlet. this is as if they repeat it typically adequate, each human being will have self belief them. Sorry, yet that really works on the susceptible-minded persons like themselves. attempt giving us some examples of an journey and let us know the way it became stated or perchance no longer stated of Fox. Then your argument may be more desirable convincing. i do not watch a lot community information yet a reliable social gathering of liberal bias is pondered in the way civilian casualties were highlighted at the same time as issues were going poorly in Iraq. Now that issues are going a lot a lot more desirable ideal, you do not listen some thing constructive. yet another social gathering is how at the same time as Mr. AlMaliki's troops began disarming Shiite militias, he became presented to a standstill. Many authorities. combatants laid down their fingers and went to the different aspect. It became everywhere in the documents. even with the glaring information that he became triumphing, AlSadr referred to as for a truce. The impact in the mass media is that the authorities. forces went living house to lick their wounds. in truth, many militia combatants also laid down their fingers and surrendered. AlMaliki kept urgent so now those militias were commonly disarmed and the authorities. forces have taken fee of protection. i did not listen any of the constructive information. yet another large social gathering is how we keep listening to that we are in a recession. in reality that in accordance to the classic definition, we are no longer in a recession. you do not listen that the GDP became revised upwards for the first quarter. there became a e book written by using a community insider about the liberal bias he witnessed first hand. i won't be able to keep in mind the author or identify off the right of my head. i'm constructive a similar ingredient occurs at Fox and that i'd like to take heed to examples of it. oftentimes it really is better to study and hear many alternative information components and attempt to sparkling out the truth.

The measure of one person's love for another is how much time he or she devotes to that person. Do not look for large monuments or dramatic romantic gestures - look to the man who has spent his life with a woman. There are many men who have done that, and it is the only place to look if you want evidence.

I think that you raise a surprisingly good question.

Love them, that is debatable. Men NEED women. I know this because the 'stray men' I see around are sad, unhealthy and lost. It is more a 'resent and need' type of thing. Or in a good situation, an 'affectionate and need' thing.

Men love themselves.

When a man does things for a woman because he wants to, that would fall in that category. There are three things we all have to do, stay white (unless ur michael jackson), pay taxes(unless ur a foreigner), and die. All else is up to us, a personal decision.

There is lots of proof that men love women. Look at Tom Cruise jumping on Oprah's couch to display his love for Katie.

But I think the most clear display of men loving women is gay men. Here are men that are doing everything from taking women's hormones to have breasts, to chopping off their willies to displaying feminine qualities.

They say Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. And if men want to be women and imitate that, that's love in it's truest form.

define :love"
Are you saying that MOST men (the very definition of "in general") do not love women? What do we love then? Other men, sports, sex?
I don't get your question.
