Everywhere you turn their is somebody asking for money. Went to the store this morning their is a guy in the lobby, and they ask you at the check out. Where does all this money go to?

a large amount of your donation goes to pay a huge salary to upper managment people. I did some research online after being called every night for about a month and a half (i have been on the no-call list for 3 years) and found out that very little of your donation benefits the people it is being raised for. The bulk of it goes for salaries, and most of whats left goes out for more fundraising, so if you give 20.00 bucks about a 1.50 is actually being used for the intended purpose.

I donate to four charities.
1. Hope Source that helps people down on their luck with food, transportation, and energy assistance.
2. Aspen to help abused women get away from abusive husbands
3. my church
4. I donate to the MDA because 26 years ago I had MD.
I do not donate to anything else.
