If you'll be able to come up with the money for attend vigour skating clinics, that variety of coaching is the exceptional. Ask for vigour skating methods at your neighborhood rinks. This time of yr is ultimate considering plenty of travelling clinics are coming to neighborhood rinks,

With your legs bent and back straight, put your feet in a 'V' position, and push your skates towards the back of the arena.

You need to build your fast twich muscles in your legs to provide more instantaneous drive. There are a number of powerskating schools that you can attend to help you improve in this area. I used powerskating to dramatically increase my quickness and burst. Good luck.

Build up leg muscles and work on your ANaerobic capacity. Aerobic will help your endurance, but anaerobic (lifting weights, etc) will help with bursts.
