yes you can, and it happened to my cousin at 15 :( not pleasant.
If it has been less than 48 hours consider going to Planned Parenthood for Plan B. This is NOT an abortion pill. This pill kills sperm before they have a chance to impregnant an egg.
A week on the pill is not enough time for it to kick in. You need at least 30 days. And unprotected sex generally isn't the best idea anyhow...
7 days after the day you had sex, take a pregnancy test. If it is negative, take another one on day 14. If it is still negative then you will probably not be pregnant, but you won't have security until your period comes.
If you are pregnant and you live in the states, you are lucky to have many options available to you, motherhood, adoption, abortion. Abortion is not pretty. I've been there and it's tough. But I am also a mom of two wonderful girls. And that is REALLY tough.
Try not worry and eat well. It will help calm your nerves. Good luck. My prayers are with you.

YES! You get pregnant the first time and taking the pill for a week before is no guarantee that it was "safe" to not use a condom. I hear that you should be on the pill for a whole month before you can trust it.
Plus antibiotics negate the pill. If you're ever on antibiotics (such as for a sinus infection) then you have to use a condom or other alternative birth control because the antibiotics neutralize the pill and make it ineffective. Even if you're not taking antibiotics and are taking the pill the correct way (don't skip any days, have the right dosage, etc.) the pill is not 100% effective and you can still get pregnant while taking the pill.
There's all kinds of factors that play into this so, yeah, you MIGHT be pregnant. It all depends on how fertile you and your boyfriend are.

Yes you can still get pregnant. The pill can take a week or so to start working to begin with and if you missed any than that plays into the odds as well. Even if you are on the pill you can still get pregnant. The best thing for you and your partner to be doing is waiting until you are married. Sex was made by God for mature married couples. Since you don't seem to know enough about sex you are better off waiting until you are married, and than these fears aren't such a problem.

Penis in, baby out.
The pill isnt fully effective until the doctor determines the dosage is correct, and your cycle is controlled by the hormones. This takes three months, not a couple weeks. It takes a couple weeks for the pill to START protecting you.
Way to go. Your first time and already you've proven your inability to make responsible decisions to avoid unwanted pregnancy.
This is sure to be a fun ride.
And just for the record, for every woman who takes the pill for a year, one in one hundred become pregnant. Thats while taking it correctly. Its only 92% effective acording to usage.
You should always use condoms or alteast a spermicidal lubricant along with your birth control pills.

yes, all it takes is one time. My aunt ended up having a baby at 15 because she didnt think she sold get pregnant her first time. Keep taking you r birth control. Depending on what brand you are taking you should be fine after taking it for 7 days but most drs tell you to use a back up method for the first month of being on a new pill. Remember to take it everyday too!!

Most contraceptives like the pill or condoms have a warning on the packages telling you that they are not 100% effective. I had a friend that was on the patch, and used condoms during sex and still wound up getting pregnant. My advice to you is go and get a pregnancy test to be more sure.

You can become pregnant whether it was the first time or the hundredth time. The point is you should NEVER have sex without a condom, unless 1) you are in a committed relationship with someone who is STD-free; and 2) you are willing and able to accept the consequences of not using protection.

you can get pregnant on birth control everytime. it's not 100% none of it is. first time or last time it doesn't matter. i don't think you've been taking the pill long enough anyway but you don't have to be pregnant you may have gotten away with this one.

yes you can. but if you've been on the pill for a week and you've been taking it as directed then you're probably not. it takes about a week for the pill to kick in if you started taking it at the right time and take it correctly.
