I heard from someone that if you drink a lot of green tea, it will help your skin with preventing blemishes, acne/pimples, whiteheads/blackheads, etc.

No.. I drink 6 large mugs of green tea every day for the past 4 years and I still got blemishes.

The key to good clean, clear skin is proper cleansing.

You are on the right track though - make sure you drink loads of pure liquids (water or green tea) but you also have to use a very good cleanser.

I use Clinique Facial Soap - mild. It's so good. I used to get quite bad spots, but since I've used the soap I haven't had one! It's expensive but trust me it works.

Tea pigment have anti-inflammatory properties. A cooled infusion of tea can be applied externally to soothe tired eyes and skin inflammation.

Drinking tea in the evening may induce insomnia.

A large intake of tea can cause constipation, indigestion and agitation, due to excess caffeine.

Pregnant woman are advised to limit their intake of tea to two or three cups a day.

Your diet.. good or bad.. does not effect your complexion at all.

So no, it doesnt help your skin, nor does it hurt it.
