Iraq will never be the same, and neither will the US.
We are unfortunate to be living in a moment of history that years from now people will look back upon as the new Dark Ages...

Yes. We were rebuilding their infrastructure, housing, schools, etc. before the insurgents started acting up. Once we and the Iraqi forces get the insurgency under control, they will be able to get back to rebuilding the country. It still has a needed resource that the whole world needs and with a government that isn't corrupt and if they adopt some of the policies that a few of the well run Arab countries follow the Iraqi citizens should be well taken care of.
We also have a reputation of sticking with a country (IE Japan, South Korea. We pulled out of Vietnam, but we took in everyone who wanted to flee. But now Vietnam is doing a lot better.) and help it succeed.
It is important to look at the whole picture. (We made terrible mistakes in the past in the middle east, but I feel confident we finally learned our lessons and once the dust settles we will be able to help Iraq and Afghanistan be strong countries that are a lot wealthier then they ever were.)
Also don't forget that it was the dictators running those countries that were wealthy, not the people.

Not likely. After genocide on the population, much of the building infrastructure has been reduced to rubble, depleted Uranium munitions littering the countryside and cities, they've lost over three years of value from their oil production, and they now have a country riddled with foreign influences. Other than that, everything is fine. If they are unable to solve the mess we have created for them by toppling Saddam, they may never get their National Identity back. It could be that they will never recover.

I don't think it'll ever happen in our lifetime. And not only that, but no longer how long it takes for Iraq to recover from the destruction, the effects will always be there.

They will have to buy arms from us but they have no money so they will pay with oil.
Iraq is gonna be a long term debtor of the USA.
Thus it will depend on us for long hope you know what it means in politics

umm... I would say yes and no. Their poulation will recover, but their economy may never recover and even if it does they will be heavily in debt... so it may be once again crippled by their own version of the great depression.
