Are you shy to get naked at the gym, with friends, or with that special guy? Were you shy when you were younger?

Nope. I love to be naked as much as possible, which is why I spend so much time every summer at the nude beach or swimming naked in friends' pools. I usually lie on my parents' deck naked on warm sunny days (as long as they're not home...they're not into nudity) just reading or listening to music. It's not that secluded and I know that people can see me if they really want to, but nobody's complained and I can't imagine that they will.
I'm 21 now and was a bit shy until I started college and went nude at the beach for the first time...I haven't been shy since.

A lot of guys are very self conscious of their 'size'. You may not have had enough time to look, but he's probably at home hyper analysing the situation thinking then worst of what you're thinking about him and etc. The most you can do is be there for him and stay in touch. Don't let the friendship whither because of this. You never know, it might bring you guys more closer than ever.

I was never shy around friends. Didn't have a modest bone in my body when I was younger, but after I got married to my second husband, I just kind of started feeling shy. I don't even know why.

I most certainly know that feeling of uneasiness when the clothes are stripped away. It is vulnerability. You must trust whomever you are exposing yourself to. I think all women are self conscious about our naked bodies. I think it was the worst for me after having a c-section child birth. I hated that scar and was extremely embaressed of it. But my partner loves me and loves my scar too.
As far as getting naked with other females...I dont do that, its just uncomfortable, as an adult, I see no reason to be getting fully unclothed with anyone unless I am gonna be having sex with them.
