I've got a transformer to get the voltage down to Japanese standard (100V) but will the adapter actually work when I get it?

The transformer will take the 240V from the wall, then step it down to 100V which the Wii ac adapter should in turn step down to 12V for the Wii...is that right?

The plugs are different length. yet in case you're trying besides, the voltage will be too intense, although the wii must have some type of overload protection (like a fuse) so it really is only no longer damaged even though it gained't paintings at that voltage.

yup, you could work it out. make sure the voltage and cycle convertor has a fuse in the socket.
